Once again Easter and Passover occur in the same week. In fact, the rare times they hadn’t coincided since 2000 was 2005, 2008, 2016 and 2024. The dates for both holidays are based on the lunar calendar and historically Spring was the predetermined time set by early clergy.

In addition, there are other similarities. Each holiday is based on historical events, teaching about freedoom, renewal and new birth. Certainly Spring symbolizes those possibilities!

Whether you find yourself sitting around a seder table, attending a church service or witnessing the miracle of Spring take a moment to be grateful and HOPEFUL.
